Friday Fun is an Youth Club session ran at Portishead Youth Centre for young people and adults with additional learning and physical needs.
School of Funk are proud to have been involved in these sessions for many years; delivering dance, music and movement sessions to attendees on the first session of every month.
Over the years, we have worked with members of Friday Fun in putting together performances, and showcases; including two winning carnival enteries, and a performance in ‘A Night In The Spotlight’ Portishead showcase.
We beileve that dance should be for everyone; and the members of Friday Fun prove this to us every time with their enthusiasm, passion and love for dance.
