In April 2019, Audacity Dance Crew had a once in a lifetime opportunity when we were visited in the studio by world champion dancers Kaea and Ruthy Pearce, best known as being members of the dance crew ‘The Royal Family’
Kaea and Ruthy gave us a private workshop of two routines which they had choreographed themselves; and shared their experiences and top tips with us to help in preparing us for our next competition.
After the session; the Royal Family members then gave us the opportunity to perform one of our own routines to them! They shared incredible feedback and said how they found our crew ‘Inspiring’ and ‘a reminder of why they dance’.
I had the opportunity to participate in a workshop with two members of Royal Family dance crew, Kaea and Ruthy Pearce. It was challenging but such an amazing experience. I never would have been able to do anything like this if it weren’t for Audacity and it’s a memory I’ll always treasure. All of the experiences we shared as a crew brought us closer together each time
